The Foundation is a longtime supporter of Highpoint’s education and community programs that provide access to quality art experiences to approximately 6,500 people each year. School Partnerships bring students grades 3-12 into Highpoint’s large classroom studio. Skilled artists and educators lead customized printmaking workshops and build positive relationships based on respect, exploration, learning and creativity. The Access/Print Project provides 70 hours of printmaking mentoring and studio access to motivated teens from diverse backgrounds. Highpoint’s Free Ink Days open up the studio to the community for free hands-on printmaking and creative fun. Other initiatives include a partnership with a local non-profit that works with children experiencing homelessness and crisis, offering a 12-week printmaking class.
